Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sedation Dental Nurse qualified in inhalation sedation to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
• Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
• Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas according to health and safety regulations.
• Manage appointment schedules, ensuring efficient use of time for both patients and the dental team.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, fostering a positive environment within the practice.
• Support administrative tasks as required, including managing patient enquiries and assisting with billing processes.

Requirements

• Qualified Dental Nurse with sedation certifications or equivalent experience.
• Has sedation qualification or in Training.
• Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
• Proficient in English with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding patient care with empathy and professionalism.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to manage individual responsibilities effectively.

Days Required

• Tuesday - 08.30-18.15
• Thursday - 08.30-18.15
