We are seeking a skilled and confident Dental Therapist to join our private dental practice on The successful candidate will work within their full scope of practice, providing high-quality preventive, restorativel care to our valued patients. Key Responsibilities:Clinical Duties:
- Provide preventive care, including oral health education, fluoride applications, and fissure sealants.
- Perform restorative treatments, including fillings on both adults and children.
- Take and interpret radiographs as per GDC scope of practice.
- Work collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, and dental nurses to ensure a seamless patient journey.
Patient Care & Communication:
- Provide a caring and reassuring experience for patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and disease prevention.
- Manage patient expectations and discuss treatment options effectively.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential patient records.
Compliance & Practice Support:
- Adhere to GDC and HTM 01-05 regulations.
- Ensure all cross-infection control and decontamination procedures are followed.
- Stay up to date with CPD requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- GDC-registered Dental Therapist with full scope of practice.
- Experience working in a private practice setting
- Excellent clinical skills with a patient-centred approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
