Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. Duties
- Conduct thorough dental examinations, including the assessment of oral health and anatomy knowledge to diagnose dental conditions accurately
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic treatments
- Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for designing dental restorations and prosthetics
- Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays and intraoral scans to inform diagnosis and treatment strategies
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols, including infection control procedures
Requirements
- Fully qualified Dentist with valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) or relevant regulatory body
- Proven experience in general dentistry, with a strong understanding of anatomy knowledge and medical imaging techniques
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing dental appliances and restorations is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to reassure and educate patients effectively
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently within a busy practice environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques
