* *Responsible for maintaining cross infection control, equipment and materials.*

* *Be able to work well in a team and use own initiative when needed.*

Duties Include:

· Full Set-up and prepare the treatment room followed by decontamination

· Prepare the necessary materials and instruments, making sure that equipment and instruments are in good working order and maintained regularly in accordance with practice policy.

· Provide chair side support to the dentist, hygienist or therapist during treatment

· Working with SOE software

· Monitor and maintain stock within the surgery as necessary, informing the head nurse or practice manager

· Follow all dental ethical guidelines including all rules on confidentiality

· Check that all necessary laboratory work is returned and ready for each session

· Assist in all clerical and administrative duties as required

Knowledge of SOE is very beneficial however not essential, training can be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour
