Essential Requirements:

Qualification in dental nursing

GDC registration

Up to date CPD and PDP

Proof of right to work in the UK

Desirable:

Experience using Exact SOE

Reception experience

Purpose of job:

To carry out a full range of duties set out by the GDC scope of practice for dental nurses, with duties including but not limited to:

· Working closely with a dentist delivering a high standard of dental care to patients

· Supporting the clinician to deliver dental procedures in a safe and caring environment

· Preparing and maintaining the clinical area

· Decontamination and infection control

· Supporting and communicating with patients

· Accurate record keeping

· Liaising with suppliers, laboratories, and colleagues

· To follow and abide by the practices standard operating procedures and policies

· To maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times

· To uphold the practices core values

Ability to assist with clinical photography

Ability to prioritise effectively and plan ahead

Confident with IT

This is a 3 day per week position with the following days/hours

Monday 8.45am - 5pm

Tuesday 8.45am - 6.30pm

Wednesday 7.45 - 5pm

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.84 per hour

Expected hours: 24.25 per week
