Malmesbury Dental is a modern private dental practice and specialist referral centre in Wiltshire, providing high quality general and specialist dental care.

We are recruiting a full time Dental Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator for a permanent, combined role. This position is central to the patient journey and requires a balance of strong administrative skills and confidence supporting patients with treatment plans and dental membership options.

The Role

You will be responsible for both front of house reception and treatment coordination duties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming patients and managing reception to a high professional standard
  • Handling enquiries in person, by phone and by email
  • Managing clinician diaries and appointment scheduling
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records
  • Coordinating treatment plans and supporting patient decision making
  • Explaining fees, finance options and dental membership plans clearly
  • Following up treatment plans to support acceptance
  • Actively promoting and enrolling patients onto dental plans

Performance Expectations and KPIs

This role includes clear, ongoing performance measures, including:

  • Treatment plan acceptance rate
  • Patient plan sign up levels
  • Enquiry to consultation conversion rate
  • Diary utilisation and cancellation management

You must be comfortable working to targets in a professional and ethical manner.

About You

  • Previous experience in a dental reception or TCO role preferred
  • Dental experience helpful but not essential for the right candidate
  • Confident, professional communication style
  • Organised, reliable and detail focused
  • Comfortable discussing fees, plans and patient options
