Job Description
*Qualified Dental Nurse with Dental Radiography Qualification | Space Dental Wakefield HQ*
Space Dental Wakefield HQ is our flagship site and the engine room of a fast growing private cosmetic dental group.
This is where standards are set and clinical consistency matters.
Due to a promotion, we are now seeking an experienced Qualified Dental Nurse with a dental radiography qualification and trained in the use of iTero digital scanners, to join our Wakefield HQ team.
This is a hands on clinical role for a nurse who takes pride in high standards, supports clinicians confidently, and helps each session run smoothly and safely.
*The role*
* You will play a key part in the day to day running of the surgery. From chairside support and digital scanning to imaging and infection control, you will help maintain the clinical quality Space Dental is known for.
* You will support a wide range of private treatments and work closely with clinicians to deliver a calm, professional patient experience.
*What you will do*
* Prepare and manage surgeries for private dental procedures
* Provide confident and proactive chairside support
* Carry out accurate digital scans using the iTero scanner
* Take dental radiographs in line with regulations and best practice
* Maintain excellent decontamination and cross infection control standards
* Support clinicians across implants, aligners, cosmetic and restorative treatments
* Ensure instruments, stock, and workflows are always ready and reliable
* Help patients feel calm, informed, and well cared for throughout their visit
*What you must have*
* GDC registration as a Dental Nurse
* A recognised dental radiography qualification and confidence in operating dental X-ray equipment
* Training and experience using the iTero digital scanner
* Strong knowledge of cross infection control and decontamination
* A calm, organised chairside manner
* Clear communication with clinicians, patients, and the wider team
* Experience in a busy private or mixed dental practice
*It is a plus if you have*
* Experience supporting implant or surgical procedures#
* Exposure to cosmetic or complex restorative cases
* Confidence with digital workflows and modern dental software
