*Duties*

* Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials.
* Providing excellent patient care by explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments.
* Managing patient records accurately using IT systems, including updating personal details and treatment notes.
* Ensuring the sterilisation and cleanliness of dental instruments and treatment areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Preparing treatment rooms before appointments, including setting up equipment and materials needed for specific procedures.
* Supporting patients with post-treatment advice and instructions, ensuring they understand aftercare requirements.
* Maintaining organised appointment schedules and managing patient flow efficiently.
* Communicating effectively with patients, team members, and external healthcare providers to ensure seamless service delivery.

*Requirements*

* Prior experience in patient care or nursing is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Good command of English, both written and verbal, to communicate clearly with patients and team members.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment.
* Excellent communication skills to provide reassurance to patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
* Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment scheduling programmes.
