Dental Hygienist

Our client is a well-regarded dental practice that delivers services in general and cosmetic dentistry, periodontal, oral & maxillofacial surgery, conveniently located in the City of Hamilton, Bermuda.

They welcome applications from experienced and qualified Dental Hygienists dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care services to patients in a professional and friendly manner.

Applicants must be willing to relocate to Bermuda.

The company will sponsor a Bermuda Work Permit on behalf of the selected individual. They offer competitive salaries and health insurance benefits. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver preventative and therapeutic dental hygiene care in line with clinical best practice.
• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis and preventative treatments.
• Take and process dental radiographs as required.
• Assess, monitor, and support the management of periodontal health.
• Educate/advise patients on maintaining good oral health and preventative care.
• Work collaboratively with dentists and the wider clinical team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Independently conduct dental hygiene assessments and treatments within the scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and office documentation.

Candidate Requirements:

• Dental Hygienist certificate from an accredited school of dental hygiene and/or current licensure as a Dental Hygienist.
• 1-3 years of clinical experience in all elements of dental hygiene. Knowledge of the Invisalign system and techniques.
• Proficiency in diagnosing, assessing, and managing periodontal disease.
• Certification to administer local anesthesia.
• Current CPR certification, or willing to obtain.
• Knowledge of Dentrix Software is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team to ensure optimal patient care.
